Every Weekday:

• Foodbank and Community Table: Via our Heaven's Kitchen Mini Market project, we provide food hampers to anyone in need. We also stop good food from local supermarkets going to landfill. Anyone can come and queue to take it away. The doors open at 2.00pm and it's all over in 5 or 10 minutes.

 

Tuesdays​

• Welcome Space (Friends): meets at 10.00am. Enjoy conversation in a warm, safe space with friends over a cuppa then stay for lunch if you wish.

• Armchair Exercises: Arrive for an 11.00am start (or come early and look in on 'Friends' first. Exercise sessions are run by a qualified instructor and are free but a suggested donation of £2 towards fees is gratefully accepted.

• Heaven's Kitchen: A weekly (term-time, Tuesday only) luncheon club for the whole community. You can eat a three course meal free-of-charge or pay-as-you feel. It's best to arrive from 11.30am to 12.30pm to get served.

• Citizens Advice Drop-In: Availability is from 1.30pm to 3.00pm. Get confidential, practical help and advice.

• Food for the Soul: While food for the body is being distributed in the church hall we have a comfortable, adjacent room to meet, eat cake, drink tea and just talk about life. We'll pray for your too if you would like us to.

• Community Gardeners: We have a community garden at the rear of the church to grow food and flowers. Come along at 2.00pm to get involved.

• Lumley Methodist Brass Band: Rehearsals are at 7.30pm. If you used to play brass, why not come and join us or you can come to learn to play. We rehearse at the same time on Sundays too.

Wednesdays

• Boccia: A learning disabilities group for young adults and their carers meets in the church hall.

• Home Groups: Some  of our home groups meet on Wednesdays. in the village and surrounding locations. Contact our minister for details.

 

Thursdays

• Home Groups: Some  of our home groups meet on Thursdays in the village and surrounding locations. Contact our minister for details.

 

Saturdays

• Men's Prayer Breakfast: meets at 7.30am on the third Saturday of each month,
